JM Kelly (Project Builders) Pty Ltd, established in 1940 with the Rockhampton office opening in 1961, is the flagship of the JM Kelly Group of Companies.

The JM Kelly Group employs almost 400 people and has an annual turnover in excess of $150M in construction and trade related areas on projects throughout Queensland and New South Wales. The Group operates offices in Rockhampton, Gladstone, Mackay and Brisbane. The JM Kelly Group is a diversified privately owned group of nineteen companies with building, manufacturing and building supply divisions.

Long-term clients throughout Queensland include the Central Queensland University, James Cook University, the Rockhampton Catholic Diocese, the State and Federal Governments, Qantas and many commercial and tourism operators. JM Kelly (Project Builders) Pty Ltd have delivered a wide veriety of interesting and challenging projects over the years including the Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Fair, the extension of a 100 year old sandstone cathedral, construction of island resorts and the construction of Rydges Capricorn International Resort at Yeppoon, Central Queensland.

Regional project experience by JM Kelly (Project Builders) Pty Ltd is extensive and includes projects completed in Gladstone, Townsville, Mt Isa, Rockhampton, Longreach, Barcaldine, Yeppoon, Bundaberg, Gympie, New Zealand, Northern NSW, Brisbane, Mackay and island resorts along the Queensland coast.

JM Kelly Project Builders has a State Government Pre-qualification Registration (PQC) to carry out State Government contracts. Our PQC rating is level 3 and our allowable annual turnover in the Government sector exceeds $100m.
