J M Kelly (Project Builders) Pty Ltd, established in 1940 with the Rockhampton office opening in 1962, is the flagship of the J M Kelly Group of Companies.
The J M Kelly Group employs some 320 people and has an annual turnover of $100M in construction and trade related areas on projects throughout Queensland and New South Wales. The Group operates offices in Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Brisbane. The J M Kelly Group is a diversified privately owned group of nineteen companies with building, manufacturing and building supply divisions.
Long-term clients throughout Queensland include the Central Queensland University, James Cook University, the Rockhampton Catholic Diocese, the State and Federal Governments, Qantas and many commercial and tourism operators. J M Kelly (Project Builders) Pty Ltd demonstrate their initiative on projects such as the Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Fair. This was a $44M project for which the company developed and financed in two stages between 1984 and 1988. The company has also been involved in the extension of a 100 year old sandstone cathedral, construction of island resorts and the construction at Rydges Capricorn International Resort at Yeppoon, Central Queensland.
